If you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, the subject of your message, and the message itself. We use this only to respond to your enquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list or share this information with third parties.

Information collected automatically

When you visit our site, standard web server logs and analytics tools may record:

3 How our text tools work

This is the most important section for most visitors. Every text processing tool on PureTextTools — including the word counter, diff checker, JSON formatter, passive voice checker, fancy text generator, and all others — runs entirely inside your web browser using JavaScript.

When you paste text into one of our tools:

• The text is processed on your own device, not on our servers
• Nothing you type is transmitted to us or to any third party
• The text is held temporarily in your browser's memory and discarded when you close or navigate away from the page
• We have no technical ability to see, read, or store what you type

The only exception is the Webpage Word Counter tool, which fetches the content of a URL you provide through a proxy on our server. The fetched page content is used only to calculate the word count and is not stored or logged.

4 Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser by websites you visit. PureTextTools does not set any first-party cookies of its own. However, our third-party services — Google Analytics and Google AdSense — do set cookies.
